Restoration
Grouting is our preferred method and a good option for cracked or leaking structures. It involves applying the grout to seal and waterproof the cracks and/or construction joints, effectively preventing water inflow and infiltration. Grouting is preferred for sealing manhole structures subject to leaking and is also recommended for infrastructures that are structurally failing or have a more advanced deterioration. In the case of advanced deterioration, we will rebuild the existing infrastructure to a total working capacity.
WHAT WE OFFER
01
Installation
With the installation of new and existing utilities, after the utility is located and excavated, our team will determine how much adjustment is needed and install it to meet the current city and state specs. After the utility is adjusted and installed to the final grade, our team will finish out the installation with the city's preferred method of top course application. Our team then wraps up the project by sealing around the install area to ensure a watertight seal.
03
Maintenance
Our team will survey, inspect, and map your desired site location with a detailed maintenance list needed on all utilities. We will then clean each utility free of loose debris, and after the utility has been cleaned a grout is applied from the inside using one of several injection techniques. The applied grout readily mixes with the surrounding soil matrix and manhole material to form a water stop, filling void areas and creating a watertight seal.

Adjustment
Adjusting a utility refers to the job spec of lowering or raising a casting or precast top from its existing elevation to line up below a grind or inline with the adjacent grade spec, pavement, curb, etc. Other tasks might include grouting pipe penetrations inside the utility, mortaring/grouting the utility ‘chimney’ between the casting, adding concrete risers with shims and structure top, and pouring cast-in-place concrete inverts.
